Embedded subtitles for live tv not displayed in internal player

When playing live TV channels from my HD Homerun on the Android app, the embedded subtitles are not being displayed with the internal player. This behavior is consistent across phone, tablet, and Google TV. No issues with web app, Windows, or when casting.

Here are my log files. I'm also having the issue with any IPTV stream with embedded captions, not just with my hdhomerun. If you need any other information please let me know.

Resolved the issue by installing the Emby Diagnostics plugin and then enabling 'Force subtitles burn-in" under Diagnostics settings.
