Sound problem in movies

Hello,

I have 2 detected sounds as default in some videos.
For example:
English (default)
Polish (default)

And even though I have Polish selected as default in the main settings, it still plays English for me because it is listed first.

In movies it may not be annoying because I can manually switch it in the player, but in TV series it is when my daughter is watching a cartoon.

How to fix it? Can you guys fix it somehow?

Because it is marked as default in the video file?

What is your audio setting in the user playback settings?

If you have "play default" set, then the first track in the file that is marked "default" will be played regardless of the preferred language above.  Try changing that setting.

Verified. This setting did not change anything still the movie is unplayed in English even though I have my primary language selected as Polish.

Pretty sure only one can/should be listed as default as subtitles have the same issue and multiple defaults don't work out well.  But did you try unchecking "play default regardless of language"?

Hi, what did you verify? How are the settings set?

I'd suggest using a tool like JMkvpropedit  to resolve this on the mkv end.

After resetting the TV, the option to “uncheck” this worked. Now the audio language is played correctly.
