No sound in Android TV Box

I have the same problem after the update 4.8.8.0.

Before the update i had no problems with any sound, 

i have a Sony Bravia 4K tv and a Sony bluray with surround system.

But there are now several movies where i get no sound, i watched some of the movies before, a few month ago and there was normal sound.

Now, after the emby server update there are this same problems. I didn't change anything on the tv or surround settings that would cause these problems. When i switch to tv speaker, the sound works but when i switch to my surround system, there is no audio.

I never had any problems with the app on my Sony Android tv, until now.
My android emby app version is the newest 2.1.14g

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Hi, i have a Sony Bravia Android and have installed the app back in 2022 and everthing was fine since 2 weeks ago. I don't have Amazon. For what Amazon?

They are just advising you there is a different app in both the Amazon AND Google app stores.

If you search "emb" in the Google Play store (remove the "y") -- you will see there are two apps, one named "Emby for Android" and one named "Emby for Android TV"

Try the non-TV version, and see how it compares.

I can't believe it! With the Emby for Android the movies that didn't have surround sound, now they have 
It looks a little bit different but i have here all the admin options that i had only on my pc. Thanks to Seanbuff!
