Don't believe the Android TV app has this option you will need the Android app.

Any Emby Theatre client should be able to display Horizontal mode, as Happy indicated above.

If you have an Android TV device then you should download the 'Emby for Android' app from app store. (not the Emby for Android TV app)

It has been there for years, just a forgotten/abandoned layout.  Think goes back to WMC days.
