marriedman 85 Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 I could have sworn I saw this option somewhere, but I cannot find it for the life of me. I did a search on the forum, but evidently my search-fu is weak and I found nothing about it. I can't find this option in my TinyMediaManager, so I thought I would look for it on the Emby interface. In the Theater application, I did find the check mark option to group item into collections, but I can't find where to add shows to a collection or how to create new collections. My example would be the Scooby-doo series: 13 Ghost of... New Scooby... Pup Named... etcetera, etcetera.. I just want one entry anything Scooby-doo related. If need be, I will open all of my NFO files and add the <tag> there, but I really don't want to use that tedious method! Am I just blind or did I imagine this option?

marriedman 85 Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 I was just coming back to this thread to say I found it. HOWEVER there is a caveat to this option. The user must be an admin. Since we had that security scare several months ago, I am a regular user and I have a dedicated Admin account. I just remembered in the Theater app I am signed in as normal user and on my web browser I am the Admin. There is where I found the ability. @GrimReaperas usual, you are as helpful as can be! 1
marriedman 85 Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 @Happy2Playno surprise you show up, I think you two guys fight to see who can be more helpful! Just so people know I am not crazy, here is my user profile options:
Solution GrimReaper 4740 Posted August 6, 2024 Solution Posted August 6, 2024 3 minutes ago, marriedman said: The user must be an admin. That is correct (and has been for a long time), regular users don't have the ability/permission to create Collections, they have Playlists and/or Favorites to group items according their preference. 1
marriedman 85 Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Oh, one more thing! I am not asking nor do I not want this to change! Muy importante! I don't want my library getting cluttered with other users messing around. This is MY library and I rule it with an iron fist! 1
