terse 1 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 (edited) My emby service is installed in Ubuntu's docker, and now there is an error. The playback record and favorite status will be incorrectly applied to multiple movies. 1. For example, I played movie A for 5 minutes, and multiple movies will appear in the continued playback. Movies with different names will all show that they have been played for 5 minutes. 2. If I add a like button to movie A, there will be multiple movies with different names in my favorites, about 6 movies Please help me solve this problem, what should I do? or How to reset the Continue watching and all favorites content Edited July 27, 2024 by terse
GrimReaper 4739 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 (edited) That sounds like multiple movies are having/sharing same provider IDs (for reasons unknown); could you share some screenshots of Edit Metadata dialog>External IDs section for few of those movies? Edited July 27, 2024 by GrimReaper

Thank you for your reply, when I clicked edit metadata, I found that they do have the same moviedb ID, how can I solve this problem
GrimReaper 4739 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 Re-Identify movies with incorrect TMDBId or manually insert correct one.

Is there a way to delete all moviedb ids at once? In fact, I don’t need it. I use local nfo metadata. I have a huge media library and manual deletion is difficult to achieve, thank you again for your help
Solution GrimReaper 4739 Posted July 27, 2024 Solution Posted July 27, 2024 9 minutes ago, terse said: Is there a way to delete all moviedb ids at once? Within Emby? Not that I know of, save editing the db directly. 10 minutes ago, terse said: In fact, I don’t need it. I use local nfo metadata. If you don't need it, disable TMDB (and/or other meta-providers) and rebuild your library with local NFOs only (verify that those NFOs have correct provider IDs written else you'll face the same issue again, which is what I suspect occurred, incorrect external IDs in the NFOs; you can also batch-delete external ID/uniqueid tags from local NFOs before ingestion with some external tool, like Notepad++).

Luke 42077 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 HI, you shouldn't have to do that. Can you please provide a specific example? Thanks.
