Conversion issues

I'm starting to do a mass conversion of all of my TV shows that I have since I almost always need to run a conversion at least eventually on most shows or episodes, and I decided to just do it prematurely en masse for everything instead of doing it when I encounter an episode/show that needs it. And I am running into issues, the Mass conversion of the whole TV Shows library just stalls eventually and doesn't seem to make and progress, so I am now going through each individual show in the library and telling it to convert. and while some of that is working, a lot of the shows are saying that the conversion was put into the Queue, but when I go into the server manager and look at the conversions queue some of the shows will show up as "0 Items/ Converted" instead of say "69 items/queued" what would be causing this, is it just the queue bugging out because I have so many things queued. or is this a problem, with the titles themselves

 

For the record I am doing the "original media folder, replacing original files" conversion type. and running Emby Server 4.7.14.0 still as my NAS platform doesn't have an updated Emby Server app yet (Terramaster T-210)

HI, when you setup folder-based conversion jobs, only files that don't already match the target criteria will be converted. That means if everything in the library already matches what you're trying to convert to, then there won't be any items for that job.

Ah that is probably it, Thanks! would be helpful if that could be better signposted, with it saying that somewhere that unable to convert because items are already requested codec" or something. if that is possible at all

Maybe, I don't understand how I would install that onto my NAS though so i would prefer to just go through their onboard "app store" so to speak. But I did just realize that it has actually been a while since I actually checked to see if the update may be available and just didn't auto update like I told it to.

Was just going off the download page.

I just looked it up through it myself and the update was pending, so that is that issue solved at least
