chard1988 0 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Hi everyone, It is my first time submitting and inquiry here. I'm using emby docker on my unraid system and I wasn't able to access emby on my mobile devices. The following is my network setup: pfSense Firewall LAN: 10.0.1.1 WLAN: 20.20.0.1 TP Link Deco M5: 192.168.68.1 unRaid NAS Server: 10.0.1.100 Emby Docker: 10.0.1.101 Port 8096 TP Link Deco M5 is connected to pfSense WLAN unRaid is connected to pfSense LAN Now, LAN has no issue accessing Emby server. I can access the server and stream media without any issues. However, devices connected to my TP Link Deco M5 with IP 192.168.68.* can't access Emby. Both app and browser has issue connecting. Using mobile device browser to access Emby vi https://10.0.1.101:8096/ gives `Forbidden` message while Emby mobile app shows `Unable to Reach Server`. I tried accessing Emby via Laptop browser and app gives the same result. I also tried sending ping via terminal and it was successful. Using a Laptop connected to TP Link Deco M5, I was able to access the web interface of unRaid NAS Server and other docker apps with dedicated IP address. Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank you
Luke 42077 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 No, did you configure any server network settings? Maybe you restricted remote access.
chard1988 0 Posted June 17, 2024 Author Posted June 17, 2024 No additional network settings. 10.0.1.1, 20.20.0.1 and 192.168.68.1 are all local networks. On unRaid, I left the default settings. Network for docker Emby is set to bridge and can be accessed via LAN. Here is the Emby docker settings: my pfSense rules: and lastly, unRaid network settings: Emby network is as follows:
Solution Luke 42077 Posted June 17, 2024 Solution Posted June 17, 2024 Try checking the box to allow remote connections.
chard1988 0 Posted June 17, 2024 Author Posted June 17, 2024 Fantastic! I thought that allowing remote connections only pertains to devices over the internet. Worked like a charm! Thank you so much

Lessaj 467 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Alternatively you can configure the networks you're using in the LAN networks field and leave remote connections disabled. 1
