Playback Issue EMBY Android App DTS/DTS-HD on ATV12.

Hello, i have Playback issues with a Dune Homatics 4K R Plus Box. For this Box Dune roll out a new firmware with AndroidTV 12.

DTS/DTS-HD audio will not be played via passthrough or not passthrough. DTS:X works very well.

EMBY SERVER: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz with EMBY SERVER 4.9.0.19 beta.

EMBY APP: Newest from Playstore on Dune Homatics 4K R Plus Box with AndroidTV 12.

i added a little video to youtube and post it here, so you see my app setting and the problem. There is no OUTPUT to my AVC Receiver with DTS/DTS-HD audio.

Other codecs i tested works very well.

YOUTUBE VIDEO PLAYBACK ISSUE

If i use KODI 21 Omega with the EMBY NEXT GEN PLUGIN v10.0.23 DTS/DTS-HD Sound works very well, but i have stuttering with this Player :/.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Yes, i have an EMBY FOR ANDROID App in the Playstore. With this App DTS/DTS-HD works, but i have extreme stuttering in the video.

No, with the EMBY FOR ANDROID App i have more stuttering how with KODI OMEGA. If i use KODI + EMBY Plugin i can watch few minutes and then begin stuttering. But i don't fall into buffer underrun. With EMBY FOR ANDROID i have more stuttering when the bitrate is higher. And with EMBY FOR ANDROID TV i have no stuttering, but no DTS audio .

I can say that KODINERDS Kodi Build 19.5 with the EMBY Plugin works OK, but not perfect.

A little Update...

 

This three Apps from the Web here are working:

Emby for Android TV 2.1.12 beta- Emby

Emby for Android TV 2.1.9g- Emby

Emby for Android (Arm7) 3.3.94 - Emby

 

Only the versions from the Google Playstore not working.

Emby 3.3.94 directly from here has definitely no issues with any of these Audio HD formats, did not notice any stuttering of video, but I only watched like 5 minutes of maybe 5 movies to check on the Audio, just got this box today, will investigate a little further.

If you watch 5 minutes without problems, it's working, lol. With the Google Play Store Apps you have stuttering at begin (Android App) or no DTS/DTS-HD audio (AndroidTV App). 

I Use Emby for AndroidTV 2.1.12 beta now and watch a video 30 minutes without problems.
