Hispanico957 23 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Lately I have inserted some movies into Emby and the video codec is seen as "unknown"... yet checking them with MediaInfo they seem normal to me. I tried to recode them with HandBrak but it doesn't solve the problem. What is the problem and how could I solve it? Thnak Hispa
GrimReaper 4739 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 (edited) Which server version? Which platform? If 4.8.4.0, there have been some issues with Linux-based systems with files not being probed, you can download and install replacement 4.8.4.0 build and see how does that compare. Replacement builds are currently uploading so please redownload the release from our website, install, and you should be good to go. We'll also do a 4.8.5 this weekend to ensure everyone gets notified of the fix. Thanks.

Likely for visibility or OP wasn't sure where the issue lies, hence General/Windows, as it ain't Windows-only forum. Anyway, moved to QNAP forum now. 1
