Anime Series Without Seasons - Metadata?

I'm adding Naruto Shippuden to my Emby library. Episodes are usually listed without seasons (episodes 1-500) and this is how I have my files named. However, TheTVDB groups it into seasons and Emby doesn't pull metadata for anything past "Season 1" since it thinks I don't actually have those episodes. I would just group them by seasons and call it a day, but that would make it very difficult to reference online episode lists to identify filler, etc.

Tried the Anime plugin and it does not work. No results from AniDB and it doesn't generate any log messages.

Is there any way to get metadata from TheTVDB without grouping by seasons?
