rbjtech 5374 Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 I've worked around the shocking state of Movie/Film trailers by using local trailers (as named in the emby wiki) but I can't appear to get TV Shows to use local 'trailers' regardless of the name. I've tried in the shows root, as a trailers folder in the root (alongside the season folders), tried in the seasons as -trailer and as trailer folders within the seasons - no dice. Has anybody got local trailers working for TV shows ? Thanks !

Neminem 1806 Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 This seams to work for me, I don't have the trailer plugin installed. 1

mrmixed 81 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Just in case anyone else stumbles across this old thread trying to solve the same problem I was having, the "trailers" subfolder will not work correctly (i.e. the "Trailer" button will not appear) for a one season TV show in which all of the episodes are just dumped into the root containing folder. However, everything will work correctly if you place the media files in a "Season 1" subfolder -- which is how they are supposed to be sorted per the recommended TV show structure. just goofed when I copied my media files in, and just happened to get lucky that this particular show still got identified and metadata retrieved correctly based on my (mixed content) library settings. So everything looked right within Emby, except for the missing "Trailer" button. Once I finally realized what was going on and segregated the episodes underneath a "Season 1" subfolder, the trailer button appeared. 1
