Collection is Missing on My Media

I use to use Windows as my server but I move to Docker. I notice that the Collection category is not on the my page of "My Media".

I went to the home screen setting but I don't see where I can set it. 

The collection can be found under movies though. I know it used to be under My Media when collections were created. It was so nice like that.

Correct new installs will not have a Collection library.

But if you really want it you can readd it via the api

When you say api, what do you mean? The server?

Yes there is a link at the bottom of the dashboard but do to CORS you may have to adjust browser flags depending on your connection.  But that is discussed in that topic also.

oh ok thanks. Now I have to figure out why everything is locked on that screen.

The lock is normal.

They unlock when you click Try it Out.

I think it worked. But for some reason I have four collection folders. Is there a way to delete it the other 3?

Thanks everything is working. I found out how to delete multiple collection entries. Im happy I bought a lifetime pass. You guys are great

For anyone else that may accidentally create more than one, you would do the /Library/VirtualFolders/Query and find the ids for each library or navigate to each on in the web client and look at the url to get the parentid.
 

Then you used that id in POST /Library/VirtualFolders/Delete.

Is there a step by step procedure for doing this. I would like to get collections back in the "My Media" as well. Along with it generating a folder image.

Currently no just these discussion in the linked topic.  Talks about the CORS issue per browser requiring localhost or https connection and the browser flag work around and what endpoint to go to and a copy of the library settings to paste in the field.

But will try and do a better write-up and post in the Guide/How to section.
