TVDB Thinks Two Episodes Should Be One

Greetings,

I'm in the process of archiving the British mystery show Poirot, and I've encountered a problem. The first episode(s) of season 2 appear as two episodes on the DVD, but TVDB thinks it's one merged episode. Is there any way to get Emby to recognize both episodes? Will Emby recognize two files with s02e01? or s02e01a and b?

Hi, does tvdb have a dvd order for this? if so then you could try setting your file order to dvd order in the metadata editor for the series.

DVD and aired order are the same. I have no idea why. I searched and found someone else asking this same question for Plex, with no solution found.

TMDB is the same also.  I would just join the episodes to make one file using MKVToolNix.

Thanks, I've downloaded it and will do that. I had tried to join them with VLC, and it didn't work very well. Appreciate the advice!

Same problem , even in french.....
Wikipedia did the same confusion !
