It works. I can now play Emby on Dex. The monitor plays video and audio, and the phone screen goes black to conserve energy, which is great.

I just want to say that the mouse is invisible during playback, and the keyboard doesn't work properly. I think emby isnt focused during playback and thus keyboard doesnt function.

Also, if I'm not in Dex mode and am only mirroring my device to the monitor, Emby now plays video on both the monitor and the phone screen.

Okay, so when not in Dex mode (only mirroring mode), my device now plays only on the monitor, and the phone screen goes black to conserve energy, which is great. The mouse and keyboard are behaving better.

It seems that when I click on fast forward 10 seconds, the bottom line where Emby playback shows the length of the movie becomes bold, and then the keyboard works (the space button pauses, and the right arrow goes fast forward 10 seconds). However, if I lose the boldness of that line, the keyboard stops working. Maybe if, during playback, keyboard buttons become absolute and perform a definitive function. Arrow up and down could either brightness or sound.

yes now it works great. but you made it great only for mirror mode. in dex the keyboard problem persists

What version should I be looking for once this is installed?
I've tried to install the v8a release and with each install attempt it loads fast and I don't get a confirmation of installation complete.
My current app version is: 3.3.95

UPDATED
I uninstalled all traces of Emby and then ran the APK again. After 2 install attempts, I worked.
I then tested on my Xreal glasses paired w/ my S22 Ultra and the video is back!!!!
The current app version is: 3.4.04

The keyboard works as the overlay on the phone with the DeX touchpad as well.

It's working as it did back in December before the Samsung update.

Hi Luke, video playback is working fine. When first playing a video or channel im getting text overlay. Pressing back then starting the video again seems to fix it.

It's better. Now when I play on Emby, it's nicely focused, so the "space" button pauses and plays, and the left and right arrows skip 10 seconds. That is great.

Up and down arrows then make it go out of focus, and then it stops working. See pictures. It only works when the playback timeline is focused.

Maybe if the up and down arrows were used for volume (instead of making it out of focus) or brightness (brightness is pointless on DEX because you are on a different display and you can't change the brightness on a different display).
