xiaobaiya 6 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 My real-time monitoring feature has been out of order for several months now, and aside from this function, everything else is working perfectly. Recently, I noticed in the log records that an error is reported every 0.01 seconds on average, and I'm not sure if this is related. Currently, my library scans are set to automatically run every 30 minutes, which is when new movies appear. Here is the log record for the day: embyserver.txt
Luke 42081 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 HI there, why exactly do you think it's not working?

A few months ago, I noticed that no matter how many movies I downloaded into my library, they wouldn't refresh automatically. I had to manually scan the media. Later, I set up a scheduled task to scan every half hour, which indirectly solved the problem. However, the downside is that it's not real-time, there's always a half-hour delay.
Solution TMCsw 249 Posted December 6, 2023 Solution Posted December 6, 2023 You probably would have got a quicker answer if you had posted this under 'Linux' as you have exceeded your Inotify limit System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: The configured user limit (128) on the number of inotify instances has been reached, or the per-process limit on the number of open file descriptors has been reached. 1 1

I am immensely grateful! You've resolved an issue that has been troubling me for several months! 1
