averrkn0t 5 Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Hi, On the Nvidia Shield the Google Play store has the version of Emby 2.0.93g for Android TV. This version is so basic, is there an updated version of the app available? or is Google Play Store behind in the Emby version? Thanks

What do you mean by "basic"? AndroidTV app is largely considered THE app in Emby ecosystem, with number of features other client apps still have ways to go to catch up on. Btw, 2.0.93 is latest stable, released last month, there's only 2.0.95 beta more recent. You might wanna sideload standard Android app on your Shield, maybe that one will be more up to your liking. https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html

In version 3.3. and above, navigating through the menus and inputting info with the gamepad is a breeze, but Google Play on Nvidia Shield doesn't offer that version in its store. Was wondering why.
