How do i delete playlists?

I have many many playlists that were created on setup.  they are basically useless and generally full albums. 

I want to delete them, but i only see ... then delete.  which then asks if i want to delete the songs from my media library.  i just want to remove the playlist and not the files.

 

I do see how to remove the songs from the playlists, but not removing the playlists altogether.

Hi, deleting a playlist won’t delete the media files, just the playlist file.

Right it’s a generic delete message. We should probably have a special one for playlists.

I guess what is happening is that, every .m3u file in my music collection creates a playlist i can't delete without deleting the .m3u file.  if i delete it, it goes away.  is there anyway i can tell emby to not read these .m3us or something?

I tried what is posted above and the entire folder was sent to the trash when I tried to delete the playlist. How can I delete the 223 Playlists I have that contain single albums? 

Do I need to delete individual .m3u files for each album?

Hi, there is a library option on your music library to ignore playlists if that’s what you want to do.
