On my emby dashboard my in home ip has changed to a 10.0.0...... I am unable to use another computer on my lan network to connect with the web app unless I use the remote access address

It used to be 192.168.1....... and that was what I used but not anymore.  I am also having an issue where a movie just stops playing like I paused it for a few minutes then start playing again by itself during this time im also not able to browse the server on the machine the server is running on like it frezzes for a few minutes

Hi, what ip has changed, your local network address, or the remote address?

What is the ip address of your server machine? Can you find out from your router?

Ok after You said router I actually never looked there but its the router thats giving all my computers the 10.0.0... ip  but im still not able to connect using that ip

It’s not possible for every machine on the network to have the same lan ip. Can you show a screenshot of what you see in the router?

No every machine has a different ip all starting with 10.0.0.1 ect...

Ok after reviewing the secruity settings on my router it was blocking the ip for some reason i can now connect using the lan ip

My router updated the firmware yesterday and i believe it changed some settings

But what would cause the playback and server freeze? Its not all the time and its always different movies or tv shows

Ill post my log as soon as it happens again. Im hoping that connecting through the in home network and not the remote address helps the issue

You might want to check your router settings for any IP address conflicts or changes in your DHCP range. Additionally, the issue with the movie stopping could be related to server performance or network interruptions, so try checking your server’s resources or restarting the router and server to resolve any temporary glitches.
