TV version cannot display embedded subrip subtitles

hi all,

sorry for the refloating, but i am experiencing similar issues in the LG TV app. Subrip subtitles are not present and sometimes even the media doesnt start.

If i test the same file in my android version everything is fine (galaxy S10e) so I gues is a EMBY for LG TVs problem.

 

Do you need any debug/log/whatever?

@thelittleblackbPlease try enabling the server transcoding option to allow subtitle extraction on the fly.

wow, now it is working perfectly.

I did 3 tests with 3 different files and all of them workrd. tomorrow I have the day off so perhaps i can tinker a bit here to see if i can check with all the formats.
