Tsch3ns 16 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Hello, for videos encoded in HEVC, embys video information is level "153". This is not conform with the information I found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Video_Coding Can you explain? Thx, Jens
Tsch3ns 16 Posted August 8, 2023 Author Posted August 8, 2023 I think I found it: http://hevc.info/HM-doc/namespace_level.html 1
pwhodges 2012 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Not least, your Wikipedia link is to information on AVC/h264, not HEVC/h265 which is different (more advanced). Paul
Solution rbjtech 5284 Posted August 8, 2023 Solution Posted August 8, 2023 1 hour ago, Tsch3ns said: I think I found it: http://hevc.info/HM-doc/namespace_level.html Correct. The main reason for using this format is that is what ffprobe uses. Using the latest Emby MediaInfo Plugin - it will use the more widely accepted Profile/Level/Tier approach and Tag it as such. Extracted from MediaInfo CLI itself 1
