Video Levels: please explain

Hello,

for videos encoded in HEVC, embys video information is level "153".

This is not conform with the information I found here:

Can you explain?

Not least, your Wikipedia link is to information on AVC/h264, not HEVC/h265 which is different (more advanced).

Correct.

The main reason for using this format is that is what ffprobe uses.

Using the latest Emby MediaInfo Plugin - it will use the more widely accepted Profile/Level/Tier approach and Tag it as such.
