Full screen mode still leaves chat bubbles visible

Emby for Android 3.3.07

Android 13 on Pixel 6 Pro

 

When viewing videos in fullscreen, chat bubbles are still visible, regardless of landscape or portrait orientation.

With VLC and YouTube, full screen mode draws over top of everything so that chat bubbles are not visible.

I meant to include a screenshot in my last comment. I've tried switching the display mode between at TV, desktop, and mobile: they all still display chat bubbles on top of the video.
