brian5678 7 Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 iOS devices with app (v2.2.10) can not delete media from them using "Manage downloads", if the emby server (the media it was downloaded from) is not available. WORKAROUND: delete app iOS app and its data; and redownload media you want on it.
Luke 42189 Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Hi, thanks for reporting. We'll look at improving this.
Johdal 2 Posted Friday at 01:50 AM Posted Friday at 01:50 AM Hi, is there any update on this? Still an issue. It’s particularly annoying when travelling, as it’s impossible to free up space by deleting watched downloads.
visproduction 332 Posted Friday at 05:49 PM Posted Friday at 05:49 PM Apple iOS likes to decide for you what permissions are allowed. They know better. This has always been the complaint from people who prefer other OS's. Change the permissions and then delete all you want. If you don't like all the regulations, stop using iOS. https://support.splashid.com/portal/en/kb/articles/permissions-for-files-and-folders-local-network-and-location-access-on-both-iphones-ios-ipados-and-macs-macos
