I am playing this video and the web and Emby Theater cannot play it, but the Emby for Android app can play it. When I open the log, I found that the transcoding failed. What is the solution? thanks

@eccbenThe file is Dolby Vision, Profile 8, it probably can't be decoded, and so transcoding fails.

Probably the Android client supports this and it is direct playing there (without server transcoding).

Thanks，Is there any way I can solve this problem? For example, upgrading the server configuration, installing an NV graphics card, or will your software upgrade solve this problem in the future? @softworkz

Sorry for getting back late, I somehow missed your reply (among tons of other messages).

At this time, unfortunately, there's no way for the server to handle it, so as long as the client doesn't support it via DirectPlay, you are out of luck with those (very special kind of) files.
