keithwalker80 6 Posted June 13, 2023 Author Posted June 13, 2023 The picture below happens on some mobile devices such as Android, and IOS devices as well as on Roku, Chromecast, and Firestick. It does not happen on all of them but enough to be concerning.

keithwalker80 6 Posted June 13, 2023 Author Posted June 13, 2023 Sorry. This specifically happens using the Emby App. I have been able to reproduce the issue on a couple of devices that I have been able to physically get ahold of. Some of the users are remote from me so I cannot touch them. There is no issue with connection via web browsers that I am aware of or experienced myself.

Since you can reproduce yourself, try doing a new server connection and entering the server information manually. If that still fails, please check the following: Is the server address and port correct? Are you sure? If you've restricted remote access in Emby Server network settings, undo that If you've restricted remote access for the user on your sever, undo that If you've restricted user device access, undo that and just grant them access with all devices See if any of those are able to resolve the issue, and if they are, then that will help tell us what changes you might want to make.
keithwalker80 6 Posted June 14, 2023 Author Posted June 14, 2023 I have gone through and checked all your recommended items. I still have the failure on multiple devices.

Solution keithwalker80 6 Posted June 14, 2023 Author Solution Posted June 14, 2023 I did try to do HTTP://skywalkerscloud.com and it worked on the offending device. I am just not understanding what changed. I will communicate with my users to make sure they do it this way going forward. Sorry to make things so difficult.

keithwalker80 6 Posted July 15, 2023 Author Posted July 15, 2023 Hi Luke: I just received a message stating that you replied to this message. For all intents and purposes, I have gotten all of my users squared away. It was just a weirdness that was happening I think. I am all good now. If I have any other concerns, I will reach out. 1
