I was just able to sort collection by date added.   I think this had been around for some time now.

I'm personally still waiting for the one line horizontal scroll through movie collection.

No, I don’t think this has been added yet.

When a new movie is added to an existing collection, the collection does not move to the top of the Movies section when sorting by Date Added. The new movie is grouped inside the existing collection, but the collection keeps its previous position.

In the Collections section, it can appear first only if I manually update the collection’s own Date Added value. But even doing that does not move the collection to the top inside the Movies section.

So the issue still seems to remain in the Movies view when grouped collections are enabled.

You're right the idea is in the main movie section, whenever a new movie is added to a collection the full collection pack should move to the front due to having the most recent movie included.

In the collections tab, try sorting on date last content added.

because it is sorting on when the movie was added to your library, not when it is added to the collection. the server does not currently keep track of this information.

Hi Luke, is it possible to add when collection is updated or items in collection increase the collection stack is moved to most recently added status?

the server database doesn't track that so it would have to be added.

but you can currently sort on collection date modified.

Date Modified isn't an option.

I think that would satisfy the request if it was coded to actual modifications with movie count being a primary mod.
