I think this had been around for some time now. I'm personally still waiting for the one line horizontal scroll through movie collection.

When a new movie is added to an existing collection, the collection does not move to the top of the Movies section when sorting by Date Added. The new movie is grouped inside the existing collection, but the collection keeps its previous position. In the Collections section, it can appear first only if I manually update the collection’s own Date Added value. But even doing that does not move the collection to the top inside the Movies section. So the issue still seems to remain in the Movies view when grouped collections are enabled.

You're right the idea is in the main movie section, whenever a new movie is added to a collection the full collection pack should move to the front due to having the most recent movie included.
