Issue purchasing plugin from MB3 Server

Running MB3 Server v 3.0.5395.0

 

On trying to click the "Register Now with Paypal" button under Plugins --> Catalog --> Media Browser Plus, it just spins.

 

Error:

2014-10-17 13:16:10.6268 Info - HttpServer: Web socket connection closed by client. Reason: Empty

2014-10-17 13:16:10.6398 Debug - App: Disposing session controller WebSocketController

 

If I am persistent enough and mess around.. it actually can make it to paypal, but upon login to paypal.. it errors with a Paypal error about the merchant (attached).

 

Tested on 3 PCs, Chrome and IE..

What is common between each of the environments in which you have tried it?

I deleted the log and then went to the plugin window and clicked so that it was fresh..

 

Where I tested:

Windows 7 x64 - Chrome/IE

Windows 8.1 x64 Chrome -- MB3 Server is running on this box

Windows 8.1 x64 Chrome/IE/Firefox

Okay, but you didn't attach the log...

 

What about network environment?  Same subnet? Same ISP?  Same security settings?  Proxy?

wtf..      Well unless someone changed something.. I cleared the logs.. restarted server and went to reproduce it to make a full log.. and it loaded to paypal.  So I quickly logged in and it successfully asked for funding.. and I submitted and it worked.

 

Good news is its working... bad news is I didn't change anything... and that sucks not knowing what it was.

Well now I am more confused... Is the supporter key for MB3 Plus?  I already paid once for a supporter key for MB3 server.  Well it looks like I just paid again

 

Only problem is the MB3 plus plugin is saying the trial expired....  I may be confusing something..

As long as you use the same PayPal account/email address the key won't change.  If you used different emails then you will need to link the keys using the facility on that page.

I just re-entered the new key that was sent.. rebooted.. and now the MB3 Plus plugin shows registered.  Not sure what went wrong.. but I don't mind contributing twice..
