Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Happens quite often in nested structure like this and can be harder to find the issue. Do all shows have Season folders?
ngmdat 6 Posted February 8, 2023 Author Posted February 8, 2023 @Happy2Play As you can see the structure of TV show folder is simple: /media/tv ---> each Year ----> TV show name
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 But it is about each Shows structure otherwise you have to add every year folder. One of those shows in the 2023 folder would have to have a structure issue. So do they all have Seasons folders?

The problem is, (1) I have no any content of TV show "Survivor All Star - 2023 (2023)", Why did Emby server make a meta data for "Survivor All Star - 2023 (2023)" ?

And Edit metadata shows what path? You have a specific show causing the entire folder structure to colllapse and make 2023 the Show folder not the parent folder. My guess will be Physical 100 as there are topic where shows with number cause this do to NO SEASON folders in a Show. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/108131-emby-server-was-crash-tv-shows-folder-when-scanning-800-meters

ngmdat 6 Posted August 13, 2023 Author Posted August 13, 2023 hi Guy, Today, after adding "Alice (2020)" show into my Emby Server, the meta data had the trouble. even though, I try to make "the shows with Numbers in their name requires a 3 level structure" as following images, but It doesn't make effected. (*) Alice (2020) have a one season with 16 episodes (*) Alice in Borderland (2020) have 2 seasons with 8 and 8 episodes thanks for any advice how to fix them ?
GrimReaper 4740 Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Name your series folders: Alice (2020) [tvdbid=372802] Alice in Borderland (2020) [tvdbid=376472] Scan media library. 2
Luke 42078 Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 What exactly is the trouble, just that season 1 did not get an image?
ngmdat 6 Posted August 13, 2023 Author Posted August 13, 2023 @Luke thanks for your response, The trouble is the Emby Server did not recognize the show "Alice (2020)" and included it to "Alice in Borderland (2020)" Season 1 with 8 + 16 = 24 episodes.

OK yes, this is because when we search tvdb for it, they actually return Alice in Borderland as the top result. This is a rare situation, but you can solve it by naming the Alice folder Alice (2020) [tvdbid=xxx] 1
