Do I need to pay for a subscription?

Forgive me for this question, but I am new to Emby.

I want to watch my own videos (which are on my own, in house, server) on an Android TV box using Emby software for both the Server and the Android TV box.

I DO NOT want to stream any Videos from any external sources or watch my own videos outside my own WiFi network (ie when not at home).

Can I do this and do I need to pay for an EMBY subscription?

Nope, full playback (local or remote) on AndroidTV requires either active Premiere subscription or one-off App unlock.

So the answers are 'Yes' (I can do this) and 'Yes' (I do need to pay something).... so your answer is 'Nope'?

Reading between the lines, I think I know what i need now and it is 'oneoff App unlock). Thanks

Correct, both Yes - and yes, App unlock should work if you won't be using any Premiere feature.
