quinlan59 3 Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 (edited) Hi! I have an issue playing specific kind of videos, I'm no expert but I think it's related to the codec of the video? I don't know. Here's the portion of logs of when I tried to play the video but it never started (the loading circle and after a few minutes it show an error message). Synology DS218j DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 3 And here's the video specification: Sorry for the "raw" message, I just don't know how to "debug" this problem. Thanks for reading ! logs.txt Edited January 14, 2023 by powol

Solution KodiTV72 2 Posted January 15, 2023 Solution Posted January 15, 2023 (edited) Hi Powol, Lots of people are using Synology and LG TV and have had issues recently. You may have the same issue where the Emby server is trying to transcode the video when only the audio needs converting. See My guess is that this might be fixed just by turning off video transcoding. It worked for me. Try turning off video transcode on server version 4.7.11.0. If you are lucky that is all there is to it. Edited January 15, 2023 by KodiTV72
