Jen25 34 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) Just starting today, I can't connect to the server from ios, apple tv, roku, but the server is running and i can play movies from the web app. I believe there was a windows update last night so the computer was restarted, but not sure why that would matter. I am connected through ethernet and in home access looks like this: Instead of localhost. I recently added the ethernet, so I don't know if this is normal or not. Any help is appreciated. Happy2Play 9783 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 @dnicks Can you provide a server log after a restart to show network discovery? But may have to disable ipv6 on your LAN. 1

Jen25 34 Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 so I restarted emby earlier and nothing changed, but on that restart I just did LAN changed back to ipv4 and now I can connect. I'm looking into disabling ipv6 so that doesn't happen again. 1
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted January 8, 2023 Solution Posted January 8, 2023 Looks to me your OS is prioritizing ipv6 over ipv4 in the log. 1
