Migrate recordings content

Hi,

I have migrated the content of my emby to a new, more powerful computer, and almost everything is perfect (I don't know why the user photos have not been migrated).

The issue is that the content in "recordings" has not been migrated.
I understand that since it is video content, it is not migrated with the zip, but is it possible to transfer it to the new computer, or is it linked to the previous emby for security reasons?

Regards,

HI, what do you mean by recordings, the video files, or the schedules?

Hi, the video files (with the information)

Where are they original files located? That's something you will have to handle migrating.

The previous installation is with docker:

/config/data/livetv/recordings/

The new one is directly the deb on ubuntu

/var/lib/emby/data/livetv/recordings

Did you copy from the old folder to the new folder?

Hi,

I have not tried it, as some systems use DRM for the recordings, I have preferred to ask before causing problems.

OK, if you want to migrate media files, then you'll need to do that. If you were using our backup plugin, it doesn't backup media, including recordings.

I will try to copy the contents of the old folder to the new one

You can also put them anywhere you like and then just add them to emby server as a regular library.

Hi,

It is what I have done and indeed, when restarting emby it has recognized the recording.

Thanks a lot
