LeidenSpain 33 Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Hi, I have migrated the content of my emby to a new, more powerful computer, and almost everything is perfect (I don't know why the user photos have not been migrated). The issue is that the content in "recordings" has not been migrated. I understand that since it is video content, it is not migrated with the zip, but is it possible to transfer it to the new computer, or is it linked to the previous emby for security reasons? The previous installation is with docker: /config/data/livetv/recordings/ The new one is directly the deb on ubuntu /var/lib/emby/data/livetv/recordings

OK, if you want to migrate media files, then you'll need to do that. If you were using our backup plugin, it doesn't backup media, including recordings.

Hi, It is what I have done and indeed, when restarting emby it has recognized the recording. Thanks a lot 1
