JKjkJKjkJKjk 2 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) I had to do a fresh install of the OS on my Raspberry Pi. I was previously using Raspbian Buster (10) x32 and I backed up the entire Emby folder (from the path in the dashboard) containing cache, config, data, fonts, logs, and metadata. I was using 4.7.8 for arm x32. I'm now using Raspbian Bullseye (11) x64. I followed the directions in the wiki for a manual backup: I installed Emby server, navigated to localhost:8096, the wizard loaded, I exited, and I stopped Emby. I copied over the backup folder, restarted Emby, and opened localhost again. Now I'm getting stuck on the logo splash screen. I have tried starting over fresh and tried downgrading to 4.7.8 so the version numbers match. The network tab shows a SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException from public?X-Emby-Client=Emby%20Web&X-Emby-Device-Name=Chromium%20Linux&X-Emby-Device-Id=0e6c78f2-5a5c-44da-b49a-a24d34b4bcd4&X-Emby-Client-Version=4.7.8.0 I found various seemingly similar situations here and tried the suggested methods. I renamed the library.db file and restarted, I deleted the library.db-wal and library.db-shm files and restarted. Running a sqlite3 PRAGMA integrity_check returns OK. I also have a full backup disk image which I loaded on a new SD card and swapped in to the pi. Everything ran just fine. I'm really hoping to not have to start over with organizing my library. Any help appreciated. Edited December 9, 2022 by JKjkJKjkJKjk
Solution JKjkJKjkJKjk 2 Posted December 9, 2022 Author Solution Posted December 9, 2022 Whoops! Dug around in the log and turns out this was just a permissions issue. Emby couldn't write to the backup files because they had been assigned to root. Fixed!
