Haven't tried the beta and don't typically unless an issue is bad enough.  The 3.6.9 update I just got though didn't help.  Still adding to collection.

Mine is still the same. Only updates some collected items when you force the sync.

Upgraded to 4.8.5 and this no longer happens.
