Spanner 0 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 whenever I try to auto-organise files in the scheduled tasks tab it displays as failed. I am currently using Version 3.0.5395.0 logs below https://www.dropbox.com/s/g2ev8wgn0jj7t22/transcode-bb74c276-cfaa-448e-a17a-f827b099b623.txt?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/svt0mty269y9dnb/server-63548657112.txt?dl=0
Luke 42081 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Let's do one topic per thread. We'll look at auto-organize here.
Solution Luke 42081 Posted October 11, 2014 Solution Posted October 11, 2014 the failure is due to a path too long error. you probably have some tv series with really long folder names. the entire path of the episodes cannot exceed 255 characters. if you can provide a specific example of a failing one that would be more helpful. thanks. 1
Spanner 0 Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 Resolved. In the watched folder there was some comics in a deep folder structure. Moved them out of the watched folder and all is working well. Thank you.
CalebRivers124 0 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago LongPathTool worked well for shortening deep paths before running Emby organize tasks
