Nate_ 5 Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Under DIsplay settings, customize home screen: It says "To adjust please use the user menu in the web app" What web app is it talking about? Nothing i adjust in emby server settings anywhere seems to affect the display ? My end goal is to be able to see more on the "shows" tab as i can only see 12 tiles and the are huge. THey could be half this size and still be legible by my grandparents. How do i shrink these tiles?
frankmb 41 Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 The web app is here: http://yourip:port/web/index.html#!/home the user display settings look like: And that changes the web app. You're right, I tried and changing the Image size does not change image size in the Roku app.

Thanks for confirming that the options dont change the Roky display settings. Is there another way to affect this? It seems odd to me that this screen is size bound. But i get software development is not easy, i am not criticizing dev's.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Will have to wait for devs to comment but I would think this is a per device option (not global) as switching browsers requires applying settings, same applies to Emby Theater. I would expect the app need updating to accommodating this feature if possible.
Solution Luke 42077 Posted November 3, 2022 Solution Posted November 3, 2022 The ability to change the image sizes in the Roku app will be coming very soon actually.

"Home" is using "Rows" and horizontal scrolling. The "Home" screen changes on Roku are presently done through the web app under the "User" settings. 1 hour ago, Nate_ said: My end goal is to be able to see more on the "shows" tab as i can only see 12 tiles and the are huge. Very soon as already mentioned will come the ability to customize the appearance of the grid in the same ways as the web app. Edited November 3, 2022 by speechles

Im curious, should i watch for this in the Emby Roku app settings or the server side settings? From your comment it sounds like in the Roku app its self? I could see it being either one though and just thought about it and thought i would ask.
Luke 42077 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Something like this would be a user interface setting, therefore right in the Roku app.
Nate_ 5 Posted November 15, 2022 Author Posted November 15, 2022 Sweet, thanks for the quick reply. Best guestimate on when to watch for this?
Luke 42077 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 I don't have an ETA, sorry, but it's in our plans. 1
