Creating new users via remote web interface causes server to hang

So I ran into this issue last night and can reproduce it. If I log into the Emby server over the internet and try to create a new user, the web interface just spins and does nothing until I restart the server application from the local machine. This is a reproducible issue.

This server was restored from a backup and was not a “clean build”.

Has anyone encountered this?

What exactly did you do at 11:50? I don't see any evidence of trying to create a user.

Went to new users, typed the name TEST and hit Save. That’s when it started to spin.

Can you try again and capture the contents of the browser debug console? Thanks.

I can, but I don’t see that as a log file or in the instructions you linked earlier. You want the one directly from my browser?

Can you try installing the new 4.7.9 and see how that compares?

I can, but it doesn’t show up as an update. Is it a manual install?

It will, just give it time, or install manually from the website
