procyon 2 Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 As the title says, neither versions of Emby available on the site will install on the Mac I am using because "developer cannot be verified."

procyon 2 Posted October 18, 2022 Author Posted October 18, 2022 Downloaded the zip. Unarchived it. There wasn't a dmg to mount, simply the Emby app itself. Neither dragging it to Applications nor launching directly works. I tried both versions of the software.
Solution procyon 2 Posted October 18, 2022 Author Solution Posted October 18, 2022 solved. double-clicking would not open the application. right-clicking and selecting "open" allowed me to tell MacOS that I trusted the application and to run it. 1
