Emby shared folder, is it still needed?

Hi all,

I upgraded a while back to DSM 7, and with it migrated my Emby library. I still have a shared folder sitting on the NAS called Emby which was automatically created when I first installed Emby years ago. My question is, is this share still required nowadays or can I delete it now?

Emby no longer installs or uses anything in that folder under DSM 7.  Unless you placed media in that folder it can be deleted once you're running on DSM 7.

I thought that was the case! Really appreciate the quick answer
