"Save artwork into media folders" - Not working for music library

Hello

While I was re-organising some of my music (changing album artist), it became apparent that the library option "Save artwork into media folders" is not working.

Any images which are automatically downloaded by emby or manually uploaded are not written to the albums folder.

This is very fustrating as I had spent time uploading artwork for the albums which has now disappeared.

Is this a bug or a feature which hasn't been implemented?

Hi, in order to have artwork saved into music folders you need to specify the music folder structure option at the top to something other than unstructured. And your folder structure should match what you indicate.

Thanks for the info.

If I pick the second option, can I structure my music like so

• /Studio Albums/<artist>/<album>
• /Soundtracks/<artist>/<album>

Or can there not be any parent directories?

Yes it can. The parent directories don't matter.
