dcruff 15 Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 After restoring a configuration backup to my Emby on UnRaid, it's up and running and works fine on the local network. I thought it was completely done and announced it to my married kids and siblings, but, not so fast! Now I've got the age old problem of no one being able to log in remotely, including me on my cell phone with Wi-Fi turned off. We can't connect to the Emby server remotely. I don't know what might have changed other than the IP address, but I can't even type that in and get a connection. "Connection Failure - We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again"
seanbuff 1316 Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 Have you completed the steps in this guide for Remote Access? https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44002137137-remote-setup If you have previously set up Port Forwarding, are the rules still pointing to the correct IP address of your Emby Server?

Thank you. I thought that I had all of my ducks in a row until your message. Then, I decided that I didn't want to embarrass myself, so I went over everything with a fine-tooth comb and reviewed everything in the 'remote-setup' section. Made a few tweaks and, Voila, everything is good again. 1 1
