Right, is there something you're trying to do with Vantage point that the core Cinema Intros feature can't do for you?

Although the question is not addressed to me, I could answer it myself: 1 in Cinema intros you cannot choose the file but only the folder and as such if there are multiple files in the folder they will all be played....

Yup, the certifications bit  Although the Cinema Intro plugin works just fine, Vantage Point has a bit more options: like certifications. And Brojbeanu is wrong: in Cinema Intro plugin you can choose how many intros to play from a folder with multiple items. Used to use it before I switched to Vantage Point. Maybe you guys can insert some settings in Cinema intro for certifications intros.

You totally misunderstood....I wasn't referring to the number of videos...but to which specific video. More to your point: you can't choose to play just one video and have it be video no. 3 (let's say)

No, I can't but I can just leave one intro in the folder, so Cinema Intro will play only that. There is always a workaround.

Is anyone having issues with certification, for some reason it's always showing the not rated cert even though the film shows an age rating in Emby

I'm curious why Vantage Point seems to be bypassed when you use MOVIES display and click the play-button that plays consecutive movies.

I am trying to create a Codec/Tag intro for episodes. I have a video folder path, I set it for already watched episodes, and to play when a tag I set on the series matches the file name. For some reason though I cannot click save and I do not know why. I can set things up for movies, and I can even set up certifications for episodes, but I cannot have VP use tags for episodes!

Click on Add New Intro and then select from the following options

YOU CAN GIVE YOUR INTROS A FRIENDLY NAME TO HELP YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S DOING

Single Intro - Use this option to select a single video file to play

Multiple Intros - Use this option to select a folder of video files.  Random selection is done during playback

1. Trailer - Select this to use online trailers or local trailers(trailers inside movie folders)
   1. if local trailers is switched to enabled - online trailers are dismissed
   2. if local trailers is not switched to enabled - online trailers will be played.

Codec and Tags - Select Video, Audio and/or tags, Embedded Track titles can also be matched - requires a video file with the same name as the codec/tag in a folder

Certification - This is MPAA, BBFC, FSK, etc ratings.  video file must be the same as emby Rating.  eg  GB-12A.mp4

 

Your intros will populate in the list below

 

Click on the Icon to get more options, where you can move the intro around in the sequence

 

 

TV Episodes has now been added

2. Changes "Rated R" rating to just "R"
3. custom Strings for matching embedded Track Titles is now removed.  If you are using these you will need to delete and create a new intro based on next point #4

Hi. Great plugin. There's something that's been keeping me up at night: is there any way for intros to play *between* episodes, and not just at the beginning?
