4K Direct Play Error on Nvidia Shield (Local)

Hey all, hoping someone can parse this for me and offer some help. I'm trying to play 4k movies on my shield, which works pretty well in Plex, but for some reason emby is having trouble. The file in question has both DV and Atmos which direct plays fine, but will only play for a minute or two before it hangs and then shows a "direct play error" and remuxes the file/transcodes the audio. I also often lose DV. If i skip ahead or choose another chapter, it hangs for multiple minutes and then has the same outcome. 

I've attached the log files from my server here. Thanks for any insight.

Edit: if I play ac3 audio instead of truehd it plays perfectly, so it’s definitely related to the audio transcoding.

Never mind, solved. Stupid me didn't have it connected via eARC.
