"Playback Error" on Safari 15.5

Hi,

no videos are playing using Safari 15.5 with latest Emby 4.7.1.0 for me. The "loading circle" animation isn't shown at all and playback is just sitting at the black screen in the screenshot below.

Chrome is working as expected on the same Mac (macOS Catalina 10.15.7).

I did run "Vacuum Database" under "Manage Server -> Database" and all problems are resolved for the time beeing. 

I don't know if that really was the problem or if i tried something else that fixed it, but right now Safari 15.5 is playing all videos again.

I will report back here should i have further issues.

Had the same issue with H264 / MP4 playback in Safari 15.5. I was able to get round this issue by setting the video internet quality under playback to 1080p 5Mbps. Playback still takes around 15 to 25 seconds to start but it does work using Emby 4.7.6.0. This only works with 720p & 1080p I've still not got this to work with 4K. Setting playback to auto does not work with any files for me in Safari.
