External Emby mobile app users can see devices on the local network

I have recently setup an Emby server and have made it accessible to family over the internet. On the Emby app they can see the TV on the local network the server is on. This is unexpected and causes them to accidentally select the TV on the local network instead of their own locally available devices. Is there any way to restrict the visibility of devices on the local network from users connected externally?
