unable to clear a stuck duplicate version

I name my movie versions as indicated in the guide, and generally speaking it works fine.  however, for this one movie, it's stuck in duplicate (1 is 1080p, 1 is 2160p).

I tried swapping between [1080p] and - 1080p nomenclature.  I tried deleting, syncing library, re-adding, syncing library.  It comes back just like this.  I've only clicked one to watch, but it synced my watch time across both, so it knows they're the same movie.  They have the same imdb id as well, and i've tried refreshing the metadata.  how do i force it to resolve the duplicates?

I get this a lot as well when I have 2 movies of different resolutions.

What I found that works is edit the meta data and name the 1080 one Captain America Civil War - 1080 and the other Captain America Civil War - 4K or -2160.

Then group the 2 together, it should show them as 1 with an option to watch either one.

Issue is filename does not match folder name.  As you see the hyphen on folder and not file.

Captain America - Civil War (2016)

Captain America Civil War (2016) [2160p]

Each version must begin with the folder name, followed by " - ".

Not sure if old bracket method still works.

Other options are manually grouping via multi-select or the plugin.

Multi-select the items and click the three dot menu in the header.

ohhh in browse, not configure.  i was going through metadata manager and everything trying to figure out where to find that button lol.

fixing the folder/file mismatch fixed it too, but that's good to know, thanks!
