using the embly windows store app.

for some reason for some programs i dont see the subtitle or episode number info.

example if you view the first screen shot u can see channels above yesterday for example show the subtitle in grid.

even some programs in channel yesterday show the subtitle.

in program details it shows the subtitle and episode number info for programs that show the subtitle in the grid.

for some programs it doesnt show the subtitle in the grid or subtitle/episode info in details.

all my epg is in the same format as the screenshot.

this is why i am stumped as to why some programs show the info and some dont.

i tried reloading epg, restarting embly, ect but still the same.

had the same setup since i installed embly and just noticed this started sometime in the past few weeks maybe,i am not really sure.

nothing has changed in setup, using 4.6.7.0 server version on thecus nas.

server has never had a update,4.6.7.0 was what was initally installed.

any ideas?

Are you sure the programs all have that info?

Hi.  My best guess is that the ones showing sub titles are getting interpreted as episodes of a series and the ones not, not.  Your episode numbers don't look compatible with Emby...

i was using onscreen format Sx Ey but they wouldnt show.

i read here to use xmltv_ns and they worked.

in the above screenshots it works as 4.4. displays as S5 E5 which is correct when converting from xmltv_ns to onscreen.

There are a number of xmltv parsing improvements in the upcoming 4.7 server release, so that may help with this.

ok thanks.

its not a deal breaker thing.

i do alot epg for free on webgrab+plus and it just stumped me why some shows with the exact same data structure show and some dont.

other than that i am really liking embly being a plex user for years before this.

hi,

i figured out the issue.

it was with the show category.

in the screenshots in the first post for the show that didnt show episode name/number one of the categories is "Movie"

so obviously embly thinks this is a movie.

i fixed the problem and everything showing as it should again.

thanks
