jkasanic 12 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 (edited) Should I be able to use the Emby app thru my FireTV if I’ve unlocked it via my Amazon account, my wife and I have Amazon Household linking our accounts and her account is active on the FireTV? Currently, the Emby app is not recognizing my purchase even though other streaming apps are working with this same setup. Thanks Edited April 14, 2022 by jkasanic

jkasanic 12 Posted April 16, 2022 Author Posted April 16, 2022 (edited) Ok, so I deregistered device from my wife’s Amazon account and registered it to mine. I still got the same message (unlock not available or app is not purchased). It looks like my wife started a trial while I was traveling for work (since it wasn’t working and she had no idea why). Then I noticed I also lost the menu for buying or unlocking the app. So I tried again and it was working without the trial. I assume it took a little time for the device to sync purchases since I didn’t do it manually. Should I try my wife’s account again? Edited April 16, 2022 by jkasanic

Ok, so once I got it working on my account again, it worked on another device with my wife’s login. I then went ahead and unregistered the first device with my account and re-registered with my wife’s and it’s working again. Thanks for the suggestion.
