Amazon Household and Emby App

Should I be able to use the Emby app thru my FireTV if I’ve unlocked it via my Amazon account, my wife and I have Amazon Household linking our accounts and her account is active on the FireTV? Currently, the Emby app is not recognizing my purchase even though other streaming apps are working with this same setup. Thanks

Hi.  Have you clicked the "Restore Unlock" button?

Can you temporarily log the device into your Amazon account and then try hitting that button?

Ok, so I deregistered device from my wife’s Amazon account and registered it to mine. I still got the same message (unlock not available or app is not purchased). It looks like my wife started a trial while I was traveling for work (since it wasn’t working and she had no idea why). Then I noticed I also lost the menu for buying or unlocking the app. So I tried again and it was working without the trial. I assume it took a little time for the device to sync purchases since I didn’t do it manually. Should I try my wife’s account again?

Hi.  Yes, as long as the device has validated, that should work too now.

Ok, so once I got it working on my account again, it worked on another device with my wife’s login. I then went ahead and unregistered the first device with my account and re-registered with my wife’s and it’s working again. Thanks for the suggestion.
