TV library issue, episodes assigned to wrong show

Hi all,

I've got the UK and US versions of "Whose Line is it anyway" on my server. They are in different folders, each is organized with season folders etc..

The UK show itself is not recognized at all. The episodes of the UK show end up being recognized as episodes of the US show, so I have, for example, multiple versions of S01E01 of the US version of the show. I can split those apart but I haven't been able to run an 'Identify' on a single episode to assign it to the correct (UK) version of the show. Editing the metadata and changing for example the imdbid of the episode doesn't make the UK version of the show appear in the library.

How would I go about fixing this?

How are your series folders named?

UK:

Whose Line is it Anyway!

US:

Whose Line Is It Anyway! (US)

Remove both shows from your parent TV show folder, run Scan media library scheduled task, rename Series folders to:

Whose Line is it Anyway? (1988) [tvdbid=78521] 

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (US) (1998) [tvdbid=76808] 

move them back, Scan media library.
